I have heard from multiple sources that NJCAA D2 Dakota College Bottineau (ND) will name NAIA Valley City State University (ND) assistant Karl Sorby as their new head men’s basketball coach. Sorby will replace Brock Lemon, who will be stepping away following the season after 5 years at the helm.

Sorby has been an assistant at his alma mater for the past five seasons. Prior to joining the VCSU staff, he spent three season as the University of Mary (ND) as a graduate assistant.
