I can confirm that Marty Eggleston is no longer the head men’s basketball coach at NJCAA D3 Lorain County CC (OH). Eggleston had been the head coach at LCCC since 2013. Although this year’s team finished just a 6-24 (4-12), they did capture the Region 12 D3 title.
Multiple sources have indicated that Eggleston will be replaced by former Earlham College (NCAA D3) head coach Isaiah Cavaco. The veteran head coach spent just one season at Earlham, but did have a 17-year run as the head coach at Oberlin and also spent time as the head coach at NJCAA D2 Terra State Community College.
Current LCCC AD Eric Lahetta was the Associate Athletic Director for Internal Operations at Oberlin when Cavaco was coaching there.
