Former Prairie View A&M and IUPUI head basketball coach Byron Rimm II will take over at NJCAA D3 Dallas College Eastfield.

Rimm II served as the head coach at Prairie View from 2006-16 and at IUPUI from 2019-21. He also spent time as an NAIA head coach at both Texas College (on the women’s side) and Jarvis Christian. The coaching veteran also worked on D1 staffs at UC Riverside, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, and Houston Christian.

Rimm II will replace Dexter Young who resigned in mid-August after going 39-22 in his two seasons on the job.
