I can confirm that NJCAA D1 Hagerstown Community will name Terry Maczko as their new head men’s basketball coach.
Maczko has most recently been the head coach at at Edgewood HS (MD), but is no stranger to the Maryland JUCO scene. He had previously served as the head coach at both Baltimore City CC and Community College of Baltimore County at Essex.
He will replace Bernard Hopkins, who took over as the head coach at NCAA D3 Mississippi University for Women earlier this spring.
An official announcement on this move is expected shortly.
