I can confirm that Jeremy Johnston will be named as the new head coach at Northwest Kansas Tech.  He will replace Jase Herl who departed last week to become an assistant at South Plains (TX) JC. HoopDirt.com first reported Johnston as the leader back on May 1st (Daily Dirt – 5/1/15).  Johnston had spent the past two seasons on Herl’s staff – he also worked as an adminsitrative assistant at Nevada, and an assistant at Dodge City CC (KS).  The official announcement will be made early this week.
