I can confirm that Kansas City Kansas CC will name Brandon Burgette as their new head basketball coach.

Burgette just completed his third season as an assistant at Johnson County CC (KS). This past season, he helped his team advance to the NJCAA DII National Championship game.

Before becoming an assistant at JCCC, Burgette spent four seasons at Indian Hills Community College as an assistant coach, and two seasons at his alma mater, Southwest Baptist University.

An official announcement is expected tomorrow.
