I can confirm that Chuck Shanklin is no longer head men’s basketball coach at NJCAA D2 Lincoln Land Community College (IL).
Shanklin had been the Loggers head coach since 2018. This past season he led his team to a 12-12 (7-7) record. Prior to his time at LLCC, he worked as a high school assistant, and also served an an assistant at Lincoln Land from 1995-97.
Lincoln Land is the second Midwest JUCO to open in the last few days, as I mentioned yesterday (JUCO DIRT) that Missouri West Plains has also opened.
