I teased this one on X last night, and can now confirm through multiple sources that Jared Phay is no longer the head men’s basketball coach at NJCAA D1 Missouri State West Plains.
Phay took over at West Plains back in 2020 after a very successful stint as the head coach at the College of Southern Idaho (he went 136-33 at CSI from 2014-2019). He also spent time as an assistant at Idaho State and as the head coach at North Idaho College.
This past season, the Grizzlies went 11-20 (1-12).
