I teased this one earlier today on Twitter – just following-up…

I can confirm that NJCAA D1 Casper College (WY) has opened, as head coach Shaun Gutting has stepped away from his position.

Gutting had been the head coach at Casper since 2019. This past season, he led the Thunderbirds to a 24-8 (7-2) record. His best season came in 2019-20, when his team went 32-3, won the Region IX Championship, and advanced to the NJCAA National Tournament for the first time since 1996. Before coming to Casper, he served as an assistant at New Mexico Junior College.
