I have heard from multiple sources that NJCAA D1 Yavapai College (AZ) intends to hire Kevon Davis as their new head men’s basketball coach.

Davis spent last season as an assistant at Seward County Community College. He has also worked at the JUCO level at Indian Hills Community College (2019-20), Casper College (2014-16), and Harcum College (2010-14). Davis also spent time at the D1 level at both Maryland Eastern Shore, and Cal Poly.

Davis will take over for Jay Joyner, who departed this spring after re-starting the YC program back in 2021.
