I can confirm that NJCAA D1 College of Southern Nevada head men’s basketball coach Russ Beck will resign and become the Head Coach at Box Elder HS in Brigham City, Utah.

Beck was hired at CSN back in 2020, and was tasked with re-starting a program that had been dormant since 2003. This past season, he led the Coyotes to a 14-16 (8-10 Scenic West) record.

The veteran coach also spent seven seasons as the head coach at Western Nebraska CC, where he averaged over 17 wins per year. He also worked as a JUCO assistant at Dixie State College, Salt Lake Community College, and the College of Southern Idaho. Beck also spent one season as an assistant at the NCAA division I level at Southern Utah University.
