I have heard from a great source that Northwest College (WY) will name Andy Ward as their new head basketball coach. Ward, who had spent the past six seasons as an assistant at Idaho State, is no stranger to Northwest College. Prior to joining the ISU staff, Ward served as the head coach at Northwest for five seasons, spending the last two as the Athletic Director as well. Ward also worked as the head coach at Eastern Wyoming from 2002-07. He will replace Brian Erickson who stepped away from the men’s basketball role to become the Athletic Director at the school.

An official announcement is expected in the next few days.
