John Bowler, who coached Parkland College to the 2025-26 NJCAA D2 National Championship, is on the move and will become an assistant at his alma mater Eastern Michigan.
Bowler just wrapped up his third season at Parkland. He led the Cobras to a 29-7 record on their march to the National Title. Prior to his time at Parkland, Bowler was an assistant at Milwaukee and also spent time as the head coach at Des Moines Area CC.
During his playing days at EMU, Bowler scored over 1,400 points and had over 800 rebounds. Following graduation he played overseas before entering the coaching profession.
