NJCAA D1 Seminole State College has hired Lucas Hunter as their new head men’s basketball coach.

Hunter has been an assistant at NCAA D2 Northeastern Oklahoma State since 2020. He has also worked as an assistant at Rogers State, and East Central State. He began his career as a manager at both Alabama and Southern Illinois.

Hunter will replace Don Tuley, who departed SSC back in April after nine seasons as the head coach (183-112).

An official announcement is expected shortly.
