According to a Jeff Goodman report South Plains College (TX) head coach Hayden Sowers will become an assistant on Ryan Pannone’s new staff at Arkansas State.

Sowers led South Plains to a 29-7 record, and a spot in the NJCAA D1 Final Four this season. He took over as the head coach back in 2022, and put together an 83-19 record during his tenure.

A former graduate assistant at Ole Miss, Sowers also worked as an assistant at Pearl River CC.
