I can confirm that John Spruance will be hired as the head basketball coach at NJCAA D1 Wabash Valley College.
Spruance had been an assistant at Southern Indiana since the 2020-21 season, and had served as an assistant at the University of Indianapolis before that. The Illinois native also spent one season at the University of Hawaii, and was at Lewis University for five years.
Spruance will replace Terrance McGee, who departed WVC back in May to become an assistant at North Dakota State.
An official announcement on Spruance’s hiring is expected shortly.
