Jerrod Stanford will not return as the head men’s basketball coach at Colby Community College (KS).
Stanford was hired in July 2022 and posted a 32–60 record over three seasons, highlighted by a 17–14 mark during the 2024–25 campaign. Prior to Colby, the Saint John, Kansas native spent seven seasons as the head coach at Labette Community College, where he led the program to its first regular-season conference title in 2020–21 and guided the Cardinals to Region VI championship game appearances in 2018 and 2021.
Colby is currently 7-22 (5-18 Jayhawk) with their final regular season game tonight at Butler CC.
