I have now heard from multiple sources that Adjalma “Vando” Becheli is out as the head men’s basketball coach at NJCAA D1 Utah State University Eastern.

Becheli had been the head coach at USUE for the past eight years. This past season, he led his team to a 14-16 (4-8) record. His best season came during the 2013-14 campaign, when he went 21-10.

He had previously been an assistant for the men’s and women’s teams at the school before being elevated back in 2012.

An official announcement is expected this week.
