I can confirm that John Meeks will resign as the head men’s basketball coach at NJCAA DI Wallace State Community College (AL) in order to take a job outside of coaching.

Meeks was named as the Lions coach back in 2010 after a successful run as the head coach at Louisburg College (NC). This past season, he led his squad to a 24-7 (12-2) record and captured the Alabama Community College Conference North Division Championship. Meeks was named as the 2019 ACCC North Division Coach of the Year, and has compiled a 175-112 record during his tenure at Wallace State.
