Truman Moore has joined the men’s basketball coaching staff for the 2023-24 season.
Moore is coming to Eastern Florida State College after serving as a Graduate Assistant at Utah Valley University during the 2022-23 season. At Utah Valley, Moore helped contribute to the program’s 28-9 record, capturing a regular season title and trip to the NIT Final 4.
Moore was also instrumental in the development of Aziz Bandaogo. Bandaogo came to Utah Valley from Akron averaging only 3.2 points per game and 3.3 rebounds per game. At the conclusion of the season Bandaogo was averaging 11.5 points per game, 10.4 rebounds per game as well as being name Defensive Player of the Year, Newcomer of the Year and first team All-Conference.
Prior to his time at Utah Valley, Moore served as Video Coordinator at McNeese State University.
Prior to coaching, Moore played a single season at McNeese State, helping the team to the best conference record the school had posted in 10-plus seasons. Moore also played one season at Snow College where he was first team All Conference, an Academic All American and the team won both the Scenic West regular season and conference tournament.
