MassBay Community College has appointed John Preziosa as the Interim Head Men’s Basketball Coach.

Preziosa joins MassBay after a successful three-year tenure as the head coach at Region 21 rival Quinsigamond Community College, where he led the Wyverns to consecutive Region 21 semi-final appearances and amassed 30 wins over the past two seasons.

A veteran of NJCAA Region 21, Preziosa previously coached at his alma mater, Bunker Hill CC, from 2002 to 2005. During the 2005 season, his team achieved a 23-12 record, captured the region championship, and secured the school’s first NJCAA National Tournament berth. Preziosa was recognized as the 2005 Region 21 Coach of the Year for this accomplishment.

Preziosa has also served as the head coach at Wheelock College and worked as an assistant coach at Salem State University and Emmanuel College.
