Kaminiski resigns at NCC

Northampton Director of Athletics Troy Tucker has announced that men’s basketball coach Mike Kaminski has stepped down from his position, effective immediately. Kaminski, who led the Spartans to a 14-13 record and a playoff victory over Lehigh-Carbon in his first season, served as an assistant for two seasons under Kevin Foley, before taking over the reigns of the Spartans in Fall 2013.

"It is definitely a blow to our program losing Coach Kaminski," stated Tucker, "Given the timing of his appointment last year, I thought he had a very successful first season and I was very excited to see his first recruiting class come through the program. I wish Coach K the best as he moves on in his career."

Northampton will begin the search process for a new coach in the next two weeks.
