Garrett Kelly is the new director of men’s basketball operations, completing Jimmy Patsos’ first coaching staff at Siena.
"I think it says a lot when somebody who played for you ends up working with you," Patsos said. "Garrett has a bright future in this profession, and he’s going to play a key role in rebuilding our program."
Kelly served as the director of basketball operations at Radford University last season, and the video coordinator there in 2011-12. He began his coaching career as an assistant at Catholic University in Washington in 2010-11, and has a wide range of camp experience, including: Hoop Group Elite, Rusty LaRue, Phil Martelli, Bob Huggins and Gary Williams `s Basketball Camps.
Kelly was a walk-on in his first three seasons at Loyola before earning a full athletic scholarship as a senior in 2009-10.
A native of Asheville, N.C., Kelly graduated from Loyola with a B.A. Degree in Communications in 2010.
