Andy Kennedy was arrested early Thursday after a cab driver claimed that Kennedy punched him and shouted racial slurs. Bill Armstrong, the Director of Operations was also arrested. The entire coaching staff was present during the alleged assault. Kennedy will coach tonight’s game vs. Louisville.

Athletic Director Pete Boone feels that Kennedy will be cleared of all charges once the entire story comes out. If he is not exonerated, it is unclear how this will effect his status at Ole Miss.
