Kent State’s search is under way here in Houston, interviews are being held now and there is a couple of new names.

Rob Murphy- Current Syracuse assistant, former Kent State assistant

Jayson Gee- assistant on former KSU head coach Gary Waters’ staff at Cleveland State, spent three seasons as head coach at the University of Charleston from 1996-99. He is also a former assistant at Ohio University and Youngstown State.

Interim head coach Rob Senderoff still seems to be the leader.
