Delta College has announced the appointment of Ramon Kirkland as the new Head Men’s Basketball Coach. With an illustrious coaching career spanning 15 years in the realm of basketball, Coach Ramon brings a wealth of experience, expertise, and a winning mindset to the Delta College athletic program.
As the new Head Men’s Basketball Coach, Coach Ramon will spearhead the development of the Delta College basketball team, focusing on fostering a culture of excellence both on and off the court. With a proven track record of leadership and mentorship, Coach Ramon is poised to guide the team towards achieving their highest potential, both athletically and academically.

Prior to joining Delta College, Coach Ramon has demonstrated his coaching prowess at various levels, including Moorpark College (CA), Western Oregon University and most recently Los Angeles Valley College. His impressive resume and commitment to excellence make him an invaluable addition to the Delta College athletic community.

Ramon Kirkland holds a Masters in Sports Administration from Central Michigan University, is a member of the Rising Coaches Association and is deeply passionate about not only developing successful athletes but also nurturing well-rounded individuals prepared for life beyond the basketball court.
