Chaminade University men’s basketball head coach Eric Bovaird announced that Kyle Milligan has been hired as assistant coach.

“Kyle has valuable experience at all levels of the NCAA,” Bovaird said. “He is a hard worker and is extremely excited about this opportunity. Kyle has great knowledge of technology to analyze and track team and player development and preparation. He will be a tireless worker, always seeking to assist our players in their development on and off the court.”

Milligan was most recently coached for Showcase Basketball in Southern California this past spring. He was also a graduate assistant at Division I Long Beach State where he assisted in coaching the post players including All-Big West forwards Temidayo Yussuf and Roschon Prince. He also helped in opponent scouting, video coordinating and day-to-day operations.

Milligan attended the University of Redlands in Redlands, Calif., graduating with a degree in business administration in 2015. He also has experience living in the islands, spending two years at Hawai’i Pacific University in 2011-13 before transferring to Redlands.

The Portland, Ore., native is currently finishing his master’s degree in Sports Management at Long Beach State.
