A few last minute hirings to report as the season gets underway tomorrow.

Rollie Massimino has reunited with one of his former stars. Dwayne McClain, who played for Coach Massimino at Villanova will now join his staff at Northwood. McClain was part of Massimino’s 1985 National Championship team at Villanova. He led the Wildcats with 17 points in the finals. He replaces former NBA player Dennis Hopson who recently took an assistants spot at Bowling Green.

I have heard from numerous sources that Williams College assistant Kevin App will be hired at Cornell to replace Zack Spiker. App is a 2007 graduate of Cornell where he was a four-year letterman. Spiker accepted the head coaching position at Army a few weeks ago.
