The University of Louisville released the following statement tonight:
“The University of Louisville has parted ways with assistant men’s basketball coach Jordan Fair, exercising the option in his contract to terminate his employment without cause. He will continue to be paid for 30 days. Associate head men’s basketball coach Kenny Johnson remains on paid administrative leave.”
The firing comes after Fair was placed on paid leave back on October 6th. He was elevated to assistant coach back in March after spending last season as a program assistant. Before joining the Cardinal’s staff, he was the head boys coach at Oldsmar Christian School (2012-16) in Tampa.
