Former Loyola University (MD) standout Omari Isreal was named the Director of Men’s Basketball Operations at his alma mater. Isreal, who played two years at Loyola form 2006-2008, will handle many administrative responsibilities for the program such as travel and academic coordination. Isreal arrived at Loyola in January 2006 after spending 1-1/2 seasons at the University of Notre Dame. Since graduation, he played professionally for the Bochum Astro Stars in the German Pro B League, and he has been a coach at the Hoop Group HG Elite Basketball Camp.
