New Maine head coach Richard Barron will hire Edniesha Curry as an assistant on the Black Bears men’s basketball team. Curry starred at Oregon and played in the WNBA and overseas after graduation. She had previously worked with Barron and the Maine women’s team from 2015-17.

She will join former Black Bear standout Kevin Reed as assistants on Barron’s new staff. Two other local high school coaches, Igor Vrzina (Lee Academy) and Jason Coleman (Orono HS) will round out the staff.
