The Marshall University men’s basketball coaching staff announced that they will host the Dan D’Antoni 2016 Fall Coaching Clinic.
The one day clinic is slated for Saturday, Oct. 29, from noon to 3:30 p.m. ET at the Henderson Center. The cost of the clinic will be $30 for an individual, $50 for a staff of two and $65 for a staff of three and include a coaches’ social following practice. Check-in will be from 11 a.m.-noon ET.
This year’s clinic will feature several breakout sessions and exclusive on-court instruction with coach D’Antoni, Marshall University Hall of Famer and 12-year professional basketball player, Tamar Slay, and 2001 national champion and current assistant coach, Chris Duhon.
Slay is a former basketball player for the Herd (1998-2002), who had a 12 year career as a professional basketball player in the NBA and overseas. After his career Slay started “We Got Next,” a non-profit organization that utilizes basketball to help underprivileged youth become successful leaders.
