HoopDirt.com can confirm that the University of Maryland Eastern Shore will hire Ed Huckaby as an assistant coach. Huckaby, who was most recently the head coach at Fishburne Military School, had previously spent time as a DI assistant at Wright State (2004-2008). He will replace Trevor Deloach who departed UMES back in August to become an assistant at South Carolina State. An official announcement is expected shortly.
