Michigan adds video analyst

University of Michigan men’s basketball head coach John Beilein announced today (Thursday, June 27) that Will Vergollo will rejoin the Wolverine staff as the program’s video analyst. He fills the role of Pete Kahler, who was recently promoted to U-M’s director of basketball operations.

"We are happy to have the opportunity to bring Will back to Ann Arbor," said Beilein. "He has proven during his previous years as a student at Michigan that he will be a valuable addition to our staff. His familiarity with our program and university will be helpful in the transition. Will’s outstanding work habit and love for the game will assist us in many ways in the years to come."

Vergollo had previously spent two years with the Wolverines as the graduate manager (2010-12) and four years as a student manager (2007-10). He received his master’s degree in higher education administration and leadership from U-M in 2012, as well as his undergraduate degree in sport management.

This past year, Vergollo was an assistant coach under first-year head coach Patrick Beilein at West Virginia Wesleyan. The Bobcats posted a 12-15 record and a 9-13 mark in the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
