University of Michigan men’s basketball head coach John Beilein announced today (Monday, June 17) internal promotions for staff members Pete Kahler and C.J. Lee. Kahler will assume the duties as director of basketball operations and Lee will be the director of program personnel.

Kahler and Lee spent the last three seasons as the Wolverines video analyst and administrative specialist, respectively. The restructuring within the men’s basketball staff resulted from the departure of former director of basketball operations, Travis Conlan, who resigned his position earlier this month to pursue coaching opportunities.
