Duke head men’s basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski will return to the sideline this Saturday against Pittsburgh after recovering from surgery to remove a herniated disc fragment from his back on Jan. 6. Krzyzewski missed the past seven games.

The winningest coach in men’s basketball Division I history, Krzyzewski announced his return during Thursday’s episode of his SiriusXM radio show “Basketball and Beyond with Coach K” on College Sports Nation, Channel 84, and on the SiriusXM App.

For the past seven games, the Blue Devils were led by associate head coach Jeff Capel, who led the No. 21 Blue Devils to four victories, including recent road wins against Wake Forest and No. 20 Notre Dame.
