Fairleigh Dickinson University men’s basketball head coach Greg Herenda announced that Mike Schroback ’18 will join the Knights coaching staff as a Special Assistant to the Head Coach.
“It is so gratifying to have your former players come back and work for you,” said Herenda. “Mike is the second player that I now have on my staff and was part of the championship culture that we have built here. He is a very bring and knowledgeable young man that will be a tremendous asset to our program on the operations side of our staff.”
Schroback, played under coach Herenda for four years and appeared in 87 games before graduating in 2018. He spent the 2019-20 campaign as an assistant coach at Centenary University in Hackettstown, N.J.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to work for coach Herenda and the FDU Knights Basketball program,” said Schroback. “I’m extremely excited to get started and hope to contribute to the continuing success of FDU basketball.”
