Three former University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men’s basketball players will be a part of the team’s coaching and administrative staff for the 2011-12 season. Ronnie Jones has been promoted from his position as video coordinator to assistant coach, Chris Hill has been hired as the team’s academic advisor and Tone Boyle will replace Jones as video coordinator.
Jones will be starting his seventh season as a member of the Panther coaching staff this year. He spent his first three years as the director of operations and has been the video coordinator for the last three years.
Hill was most recently a graduate student manager at Tennessee after a successful professional basketball career overseas.
Boyle just finished his playing career at UWM this past season by helping to lead the Panthers to the Horizon League regular season title and the National Invitation Tournament.
