Former Kent State standout Jordan Mincy has been hired as assistant men’s basketball coach at the College of Charleston as announced by head coach Doug Wojcik.
Mincy, 25, joins the Cougars after spending the last two seasons as an assistant coach under head coach Rob Senderoff at his alma mater. One of the most instrumental floor leaders in Kent State history, he has quickly built a reputation as a well-connected and talented recruiter.
A four-year letterwinner from 2005-09, Mincy returned to the Kent State program after spending the 2009-10 season as a graduate assistant under former head coach Darrin Horn at South Carolina.
