I have heard that the University of Missouri Board of Curators will hold a meeting on Monday to discuss issues related to the hiring of a new men’s basketball coach. The “hot” name making the rounds right now is Central Missouri head coach Kim Anderson. The Missouri native led his squad the DII National Championship this past season and holds a 273-96 record (12 seasons at CMU). Anderson also played at Missouri (1973-77), is a Missouri Hall of Famer, and spent time on Norm Stewart’s staff as an assistant there. I can confirm that he did interview last week, but it does not sound like he has been offered the job yet. More as I hear it.
