Keiser men’s basketball head coach Marcus “Chief” Bryant announced the hiring of Vincent Miszkiewicz as assistant coach.
“Throughout Vincent’s collegiate career, he embodied everything you hope for in a student-athlete. He was an outstanding scholar in the classroom, an All-American on the court, and, most importantly, a tremendous representative of our program,” Bryant said. “When Vincent shared with me that he wanted to retire early from his professional playing career and pursue coaching, I immediately believed it was the right path for him. I was thrilled when the opportunity arose to bring him back home to Keiser and add him to our coaching staff. Vincent’s passion for teaching the game, commitment to player development, and ability to build meaningful relationships with our student-athletes will make an immediate impact on our program. As someone who has experienced our culture firsthand, he understands the championship standard and servant leadership that define our TRiBE. His addition strengthens an already outstanding coaching staff and positions us to continue pursuing excellence both on and off the court. We are excited to welcome Coach Vincent Miszkiewicz back to Keiser University and look forward to the tremendous influence he will have on the future of Seahawk basketball.”
“I appreciate Director of Athletics Kris Swogger and Head Coach Marcus “Chief” Bryant for giving me this opportunity to come back to Keiser and begin my coaching career,” Miszkiewicz said. “I had a lot of success as a player throughout my collegiate career, especially here at Keiser, and I want to help these student athletes at Keiser open doors that they never thought they had a chance to. Keiser University has become a home for me, and I am just blessed every day to be around one of the best head coaches and staffs in all of college basketball.”
Prior to joining the Seahawks, Miszkiewicz spent time playing for Kipina Aanekoski in Finnish 1st Division A. He averaged 11.6 points and 12.1 rebounds per game overseas before moving back to Illinois to assist with the Chicago Sky of the WNBA, working with WCBA International Player of the Year and two-time NCAA National Champion Kamilla Cardoso. Prior to going overseas, he spent two seasons at Keiser, becoming one of the most dominant rebounders in program history, earning back-to-back NAIA All-American honors and consecutive First-Team All-Sun Conference selections. In 2024-25, he averaged 14.4 points and 13.5 rebounds per game while recording 23 double-doubles, leading the NAIA in blocks and finishing second nationally in offensive, defensive, and total rebounds. The previous season, Miszkiewicz earned NAIA First-Team All-American and Sun Conference Player of the Year honors after averaging 16.9 points and 15.9 rebounds per game with 27 double-doubles, ranking among the national leaders in multiple rebounding categories while setting several Keiser program records.
Prior to Keiser, Miszkiewicz competed at University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, Purdue University Northwest, and University of the Incarnate Word. At Purdue Northwest, he earned All-GLIAC First Team and GLIAC All-Defensive Team honors after averaging a double-double with 12.3 points and 11.5 rebounds per game. During his freshman season at Incarnate Word, he started 29 games and led the team in field-goal percentage, rebounds, and blocks while appearing in every contest.
Miszkiewicz graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a bachelor of arts in communications before receiving his master of science in sports management and operations from Keiser in 2025.
