Graduate student Terry Dawkins (Bronx, N.Y.) and senior Justice Washington (Hamden, Conn.) of the Albertus Magnus College men’s basketball team recorded a pair of double-doubles as the Falcons captured their fourth consecutive win following a 76-64 home victory over the Bulldogs of Dean College on Sunday afternoon inside “The Nest” in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action.
Following today’s home victory over the Bulldogs, head men’s basketball coach Mitch Oliver earned his 300th career win. He now holds the record in all-time wins and winning percentage in the men’s basketball program and Albertus Athletics history.
Dawkins and Washington put together season-highs in the contest, as Dawkins recorded a 26-point, 15-rebound performance, while Washington followed close behind with a 20-point, 20-rebound showing. Antonio Bonilla (Tenafly, N.J.) also had a great game for the Falcons, as the junior guard tallied his 11th double-digit scoring effort of the season with 12 points.
