Pitt-Bradford head coach Andy Moore has been officially released by the University and replaced on an interim basis by former UPB women’s coach Brian Sansom. As we reported on 12/20, rumors were swirling about Moore’s suspension and probable release (http://hoopdirt.com/blog/42ce5578/pitt-bradfords-moore-suspe…).

Sansom served as the interim women’s coach at Pitt-Bradford last season, leading his team to the AMCC tournament finals. He began this season as the boy’s basketball coach at Archbishop Walsh HS, but has stepped down from that position the accept the job at UPB.

A national search for a permanent replacement is expected after the season.
