The search at Seton Hall has really heated up. Over the past two days, Seton Hall administrators have had talks (in some form or another) with Mike Rice (Robert Morris), Fran McCaffrey (Siena), and Mike Lonergan (Vermont). They appear to be moving very quickly here, and I would not be surprised if they make a hire in the next day or so. Yesterday, there was a ton of speculation that Mike Rice was the guy, but today it seems the Hall has made a hard run at McCaffrey. Also, now that Fordham has hired Pecora, expect the domino’s to fall in the New York area (SHU, St. John’s. Wagner) and the hirings to come quickly.
