I said earlier today that Mount St. Mary’s AD Lynne Robinson would address the Robert Burke situation before tonight’s game – and she did. Sort of….

According to a source, Robinson met with a small group of reporters in her office for less than 10 minutes prior to the start of tonight’s game vs. FDU (which The Mount wound up winning – congrats to interim head coach Matt Henry). During the brief meeting, she did not shed any light on the situation. She just reiterated what we already know – Burke has been placed on leave. She didn’t expand on that saying it was a personnel decision and she could not comment on it. Not exactly what we were expecting, but we’ll keep you updated as more develops.
