Ato Green is no longer the head men’s basketball coach NAIA Rust College (MS). He had been there for the past three seasons – no reason has been given for his departure. I have heard that he has been replaced by Harris-Stowe State (MO) assistant Edward Newton.

Newton is a Rust College alum, who had previously spent time as the head coach there in the early 2010’s when they were an NCAA D3 school. In addition to his one season at Harris-Stowe, and his previous tenure at Rust, Newton has also worked at Miles College (AL), Dillard College (LA), LeMoyne-Owen College (TN), and McPherson College (KS).
