HoopDirt.com can confirm that Tom Kempf is no longer the head basketball coach at Lawrence Tech (MI). He was hired to re-start the basketball program at the college back in 2011. Kempf is a former assistant at Michigan where he worked under head coaches Johnny Orr and Bill Frieder. This past season, his squad posted a 4-24 record. An official announcement is expected shortly.
