I teased this one on Twitter back on 9/1 – I can now confirm it…

Akeem Scott is no longer the head men’s basketball coach at NAIA Kentucky Christian. Scott took over at KCU back in 2017 after a stint as the assistant women’s basketball coach at West Virginia State. He was also worked as a WBB assistant at Asbury University, and had previously spent time on the staff at KCU (his alma mater).

Scott wraps up his tenure at KCU with a 36-80 overall record, including a 6-24 (6-18) mark last season.
