NAIA DIRT: Life University set to name former DI assistant as new Head Basketball Coach

I have heard from a great source that former DI assistant Kevin Easley will be named as the new head basketball coach at NAIA Life University (GA). Easley was most recently an assistant coach at Tennessee Chattanooga and has also worked at UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington, High Point, and Tennessee Martin.

University of West Florida assistant coach Brian Benator was the other finalist for this job. The final group also included Rich McCray (current assistant at Life U), and Stephen Cox (assistant coach Kennesaw State).

Easley will replace Keith Adkins who departed in June to become the head basketball coach at Lindsey Wilson College in his native Kentucky.

An official announcement is expected shortly.
