I can confirm that Dan O’Dowd is no longer the head men’s basketball coach at NAIA Bethany College (KS). He had served as the Swedes head coach since 2017.

Prior to hs time at Bethany, O’Dowd worked as a D1 assistant at North Texas, Texas at San Antonio, Arizona State, and Mississippi, and as a GA at Kansas State. He had also served as the assistant AD at Bethany.

This past season, Bethany went 18-11 (14-8 KCAC). The Swedes went 20-12 (15-9) the previous season.
